Public places legislation

Ductless ethanol fireplaces are becoming increasingly popular in public places. They bring warmth and friendliness without the constraint of having a traditionnal ducted fireplace.

The first generation burners, with no or minimal security, are dangerous for patrons and staff members, as recognized by the Consummers Security Commission report.

A law ( published on the 7th of June by the French Government) states that only fireplaces & burners complying with the D35-386 standard are allowed in these premises;  the first generation, non complying burners are now illegal and should not be used.

Today, is one of the only manufacturers which provide the market with a burner tested and certified by the independant French National Testing Authority
